State secretary in Serbia's Ministry of Finance and Economy Vlajko Senic has stated that one of the main economic challenges in this year will be the continuation and acceleration of structural reforms.
We are committed to completely solving the problem of restructuring companies, and that task has started with January 1, Senic told TANJUG. He has specified that there are more than 170 such companies. The structural reforms should help the relaxation of public finances as a whole, pointed Senic, while adding that the subsidies will be reduced and the public companies should be fully transparent and equal to the private ones regarding the manner of their operation. He has announced that in 2013 the abolishing of bureaucratic procedures will be continued, primarily through the reforms in the tax services.
