Getting started

On November 19, the new 5 Leks coin, issued last year, will enter the circulation, states the Bank of Albania.
"The new metallic 5 Leks coin has the same figures and the same size with the old 5 Leks coin issued in 1995, and put into circulation on 01.01.1997 and its reprint in 2000, that was put into circulation on 01.01.2001". The only difference with previous issues is the year of issuing at the body of the coin, that will be "2011", says the statement of the Bank of Albania.
