Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister in charge of defence, security and the fight against corruption and crime and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vucic stated that the Serbian government will do everything to create a favourable economic and investment environment and help foreign investors to achieve the best results possible in Serbia.
During his visit to company Philip Morris, Vucic underlined that the Serbian government will take all measures to create conditions through legislation and by-laws for the realisation of important tasks for our country, and these are more jobs, greater production and greater exports. The First Deputy Prime Minister noted that Serbia should be a real partner to foreign investors, recalling that the company Philip Morris creates 6% of budget revenues of Serbia, which is a great responsibility for Serbia. Vucic reiterated that Serbia will continue the work on cutting red tape, that it has already abolished 138 para-fiscal levies and that it will pass a new law on public procurement and a new law on public enterprises.
