Gold extended overnight gains to reach a three-week high

Wall Street Journal - 09.11.2012

Gold extended overnight gains to reach a three-week high in Asian trading Friday and appeared headed for its first weekly gain since early October.

At 0432 GMT, spot gold was at $1,734.10 a troy ounce, up $2.70 from its previous close.
