Sweden supports Montenegro's EU accession

The Kingdom of Sweden will continue to promote EU enlargement policy when it comes to Montenegro and the region of the Western Balkans as well, Swedish Minister for EU Affairs Birgitta Ohlsson said at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Duško Marković in Podgorica.

Montenegro deserved the opening of EU accession negotiation, and it also stimulated other states of the region to move towards achieving progress in its European and Euro-Atlantic integration process, she pointed out.
