Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic spoke today with Minister of Economic Affairs and Communication of Estonia Juhan Parts about the improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries.
Ljajic and Parts expressed readiness to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of information technologies, within which the areas for an intensive cooperation will be defined. A special emphasis will be placed on e-management because Estonia is achieving positive results in that field. Parts underlined that Estonian businessmen are interested in investing in Serbia, especially in the energy and IT sectors. Speaking about European integration, he underlined that Estonia backs EU enlargement and that it will help Serbia on its path towards EU membership with its experiences and support in the Council of Ministers.
