Slovenian Tax administration is  considered the application for cancellation, deferral and installment payment of mandatory contributions to pension and disability insurance, after the January to June, such applications are rejected because the account of the revised Law on Tax Procedure, the Slovenian daily newspaper reported.

According to this report, Slovenian Tax administration should be decided only on the delay and installment payment of the mandatory pension contributions by employers are obliged to pay. This is also reflected in statistics on write-offs, installment payments and postponements: the first half of this year were much less than during the same period last year, the amount has reached only one tenth of last year's levels.

By June, the tax authorities rejected 1,062 applications. The General Tax Office explained that the criteria for granting a deferral or installment payments for pension and disability insurance is still the same as they were before the first January 2011, which came into force changes in the tax procedure.

“For taxpayers, however, is an important difference:It is now possible to grant a deferral or payment by installment only for contributions that do not constitute a withholding tax. Contributions considered employees for tax withholding, and therefore the decision of another appellate authority in tax matters can not be disposed of Sun Sun to repay in installments", was written in Delo’s article published on Wenesday.
